About Think Intern
Our Story
After completing a few internships, traveling around the
world, and graduating from Tulane University, we decided to
embark on our next mission - to start a great company.
Ideas began to flow like water down the mighty Zambezi
River: On-location Internet kiosks. High-end Indian scarf
importing. Premium organic chewing gum. A new chain of gas
stations. An African study aboard program. And amid many
ideas, Think Intern was born.
How did we decide on internships? It just kind of happened.
The need for Think Intern was based on our own experiences.
With the rise in importance of internships and lack of
resources and opportunities, we set out to solve this
problem.
Early along the way, we hooked up with Brian, a fellow
Tulanian. Things kept rolling - we found a sweet developer
and began working with some awesome partners, companies, and
universities. We published an internship guidebook and more
than 100,000 of them are floating around more than 150
schools and organizations around the country. We're now
working out of New York City and excited for the next
chapter in this ever-changing story.
Best,
Jeffrey and Jason
Think Intern Co-founders
About Us
Think Intern is a free service that connects students with
internship opportunities.
Our mission is to be the destination for internships. We
strongly believe that out-of-the-classroom learning is a key
element to one's educational and personal growth. We think
that you should do what you love and we firmly believe that
an internship is a great way to discover one's interests and
abilities.
We are constantly trying to innovate, improve our services,
and connect the community. Get in touch with us - we'd love
to hear from you.
In addition to Think Intern.com, we run InternNYC - a New
York City based internship program that focuses on the
educational and social experience of internships. We provide
students with everything they need to successfully intern in
New York City, including internship placement, summer
housing, transportation, social activities, and many other
extras. Check it out!
